What EFCA West can do for you

For the church planting pastor and leadership/core group:

  • Full  assessment of the lead church planter.
  • Training for the lead church planter and his team (Church Planters BootCamp)
  • On-going coaching/mentoring of the planter
  • Subsidy funding (subject to conditions)
  • Provide accountability structure in the areas of team building, credentialing, and finances.

Legalities and administrative assistance:

  • Provide 501(c)(3) status via the national EFCA’s Federal Tax Exempt umbrella.
  • Provide exemption from CA State Franchise Tax Board taxes while in the church plant stage.
  • Provide assistance with State of CA incorporation.
  • Provide assistance with FTB exemption application.
  • Provide individualized church planting account with EFCA West to receive funds,
  • issue tax deductible receipts to donors and issue subsidy checks (subject to conditions)
  • Establish worker’s compensation insurance for the planter (subject to conditions)
  • Establish insurance liability coverage for the church plant for rental facilities, etc. (subject to conditions)
