How Can We Do Men's Ministry?
Entry Points
Gather Men-Plan events that will attract men such as: attend sporting events; play on sports teams; golf; men's events like PK or ISI; outdoor adventure-hunting, fishing, rafting, etc; seminars on felt needs like fathering, finances, marriage, etc. Men's retreats, Men's breakfasts, work days, etc.

Mid-Level
Connect Men with short term (4-6-8 weeks), low key, non-threatening groups and studies. Announce the beginning and ending dates. You can use a variety of methods and tools such as:

Book Studies
Find a men's book you are excited about, invite some men to go through it with you, a chapter a week.

"Men's Fraternity" A three part series with Robert Lewis on DVD (or can be done live) with workbooks. "The Quest for Authentic Manhood" (25 sessions), "Winning at Work and at Home" (16 sessions), "The Great Adventure" (20 sessions). www.mensfraternity.com These are currently among the most widely used materials in the country.

Invest in Men who are ready to go deeper in commitment and accountability.

Excellent discipleship and leadership training experience
Requires high commitment level (30+ sessions, suggest Sept-May) in six modules. Includes small group accountability, Bible study, scripture memory, outside reading, listen to teaching on CDs..
