Steve Highfill is the Team Leader and air traffic controller for EFCA West. He was the founding pastor of the Cypress Evangelical Free Church (1978), and was appointed District Superintendent of the former Southwest District, EFCA, in 1990. He has led EFCA West since its inception in 2003. Along with his wife Deedee, they live in Valley Center (San Diego County), California. They have two grown children. .

Dennis Baker is the Director of Placement and Transitions. Dennis is an Oregon native who recently celebrated his 41st wedding anniversary with his wife, Lynette. They have three adult children plus four fine grandchildren. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Leadership Journal. He is also the author of a widely used and quoted Pastoral Search Manual, and a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Interim Ministry Network and The American Society for Church Growth. .

Tom Garasha is Director of Pastoral Care and Coaching. Tom, his wife Lynn and their two children came to the Phoenix metro area in 1982 to plant Shiloh Community Church. Shiloh grew significantly and "daughtered" 4 churches over a period of 24 years. Tom and Lynn bring a vast wealth of experience and expertise to their new role. At the core of who they are is their desire to love and encourage pastors and wives. Their home in Scottsdale Arizona is also a retreat house designed to minister to pastors and their families. Their grown children and 4 grandchildren are all walking closely with the Lord.

Dave Page is the Director of Church Planting. He has over 20 years of pastoral experience and has planted three churches in California. He has trained pastors and church planters on four continents. Dave enjoys coaching and training church planters, individually and in networks, and helping them reach their full potential. Dave has been married to Carrie for 21 years and they have 3 children and reside in Simi Valley, California. Dave’s hobbies include: basketball, motorcycling, going to the beach and reading. .

Wil Regier is the Director of Church Health and Fitness. Wil has over 40 years of experience as a church lay leader and has a passion to help the local churches of EFCA West to become what Christ wants them to be in their community. Wil and his wife Gloria have been married 44 years with two grown sons and two grandchildren. Wil and Gloria love to travel and live in Yorba Linda, CA.

Paul Schliep is the Director of Credentialing and Administration. Paul has served in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years, most recently a 16 year ministry at Santa Margarita Community Church (EFCA). He is the staff resource for movie and book reviews and serves as the staff utility player. Paul and Sharon have 3 adult children who have grown to be great friends to each other and their parents and all of whom are Jesus followers. .

Rita Nystrom is the Leader of Administrative Services and is the Institutional Memory of EFCA West. Currently, she is involved with her husband, Ron, in leading the Parent/Child Dedication Class in her local EFC (Crossroads Church in Turlock). Rita loves reading and gardening and is also a cable news junkie. Rita and Ron have two wonderful children - Sarah, who is currently working on earning a CPA, and Eric, who is a history major at CSU, Stanislaus. .
